Thanksgiving Holiday Observance

State Farm Federal Credit Union will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. 

While Friday, Nov. 29 coincides with the Company holiday given to State Farm employees, it is not a Federal holiday and the Federal Reserve will be open.  The Credit Union will process ACH online transfer transactions on Nov. 29.

The upcoming holiday has the following impacts to operations:

  • Mail – There will be no incoming or outgoing mail processed on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29.

  • ACH Transfers – There will be no ACH transfer processing on Thursday, Nov. 28. All ACH requests received before the 2:00 p.m. CT cutoff on Wednesday, Nov. 27 will be processed on Friday, Nov. 29. Transfer requests made after the 2:00 p.m. CT cutoff on Wednesday, Nov. 27 and up to the 2:00 p.m. CT cutoff on Friday, Nov. 29. will be processed be processed on Monday, Dec. 2.

  • Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) – Check deposits received after 12:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Nov. 27 will be processed on Monday, Dec. 2.

  • Wire Transfers – All wire requests after the 2:00 pm CT cutoff on Wednesday, Nov. 27 will be processed the morning of Monday, Dec. 2.

The Federal Reserve and United States Postal Service will be closed on Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Credit Union will be open, however, there will be no mail, wire or ACH transfer processing. We will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 21.
