When to use a wire transfer – A wire transfer allows you to send or receive funds electronically, rather than by check or cash. Wires are generally used when funds are needed quickly (the same or next business day) and for one-time transactions. (See also – When to use an ACH transfer.)
Wire Transfer Fee – Refer to the current Rate and Fee Schedule for wire transfer fees. Your receiving financial institution may also charge you a fee to accept or send wires.
